Barrica Wine's Store, based at Huntleys Farm, Samlesbury, near Preston (junctions 31 of the M6) is the 2010 UK Independent Wine Retailer of the Year.
In our 600 sq ft wine store you will find over 700 wines, 50 bottled beers and 100 designer spirits on display - ranging from wine from £5 to £200 - and our staff are available to give you friendly, expert advice and make personal recommendations based on your own individual tastes.
Week-End Wine Tasting Events: Every weekend we hold a wine tasting with between 3 - 5 wines on offer, so why not call in and join us.
Themed Wine Tasting Events: We also hold regular regional wine tasting, so please sign up for our newsletter and we will keep you up to date with all the activities that Barrica Wines have planned throughout the North West.
Wine Delivery - we deliver wine free of charge in a 10 mile radius of Barrica Wines.
Minimum Order - A case of 12 bottles.
Free Glass Loan - for your wedding, party or event when you buy your wine from Barrica.

Barrica Wines is 5 Years Old
On Sunday 17th March we held our 5th Birthday Party. Thank you to everyone who attended and all those who have supported us over the last 5 years.

Barrica Wines was founded by wine specialist and unquenchable enthusiast, Jane Cuthbertson. Jane focuses on finding every day and fine wines from smaller vineyards, not widely available on the High Street, which offer superb quality and value for money.
All our wines, which have been sourced worldwide, have been personally tasted and selected by Jane Cuthbertson. At Barrica Wines we pride ourselves in being friendly and approachable. Barrica Wine Store's easy to find as we are on the A59 in Samlesbury, Lancashire. As we are close to junction 31 of the M6 we are easily accessible from Manchester, Bolton, Lancaster, Blackpool, Preston, Blackpool and Clitheroe.

The only way I can describe the Barrica wine shop - It's an Aladdins cave of liquid delights - which if Jane wasn't there to guide me - I could quite easily drown in !
But more seriously it is a wine shop like they should be - help if you need it ,and in a way that doesn't make you feel patronized - and just pleasant service if you want to do your own choosing
All I can say is TRY IT !
