Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September

Jane has drawn up a shortlist of potential newcomers for the Barrica range - and you are invited to taste them and share your opinions. Come and join us in the Barrica shop this weekend, try a few wines and let us know your thoughts. It's the first time we've tried this, so it should be very interesting!

 

Italian Dinner Tasting

Friday 10th September

This is a ticket only event in Huntleys Restaurant. Wine on arrival, followed by an authentic Italian menu with Jane's special choice of wines to complement the food. The evening will be presented by Philip "Bomber" Harris - not the original one! - but he has tremendous knowledge on Italian food and wine. This is a great opportunity to appreciate the concept of food and wine pairing in an informal but informative atmosphere. £40 per person inclusive of dinner and wines. 7pm for 7.30pm

 

Argentinean Wines Educational Day

Saturday 11th September

Continuing our extremely popular educational trip around the world - so far we have done Italy, Australia and New Zealand, this will be a chance to explore some exciting Argentinian wine. Argentina is fast becoming a major player in the wine world and is a particular favourite of Jane's. Tickets are £65 per person and include around 12 wines, lunch and the expertise of our qualified lecturer. Numbers are limited so please book early.

Location - The Millstone@Mellor, 10am - 4pm.

 

Argentine Spectacular

Saturday 18th September

Mauricio Lorca, one of the finest winemakers in Argentina is coming to Barrica especially to host a dinner. This is going to be one of the best events of the year at Barrica and you really won't want to miss it! Tickets are £40 per person for a four course dinner, wines and...a surprise...Numbers will be limited so get your tickets as soon as possible.
