Barrica Wines soft re-opening!
It’s funny, when I first opened a shop over 10 years ago, this certainly wasn’t a scenario I’d ever envisaged.
Firstly, I’d like to offer a massive sackload of personal thanks to all you lovely, LOVELY people who have kept us going by ordering goodies for home delivery over the last five weeks. Your support has been tremendous and very much appreciated. It has helped us massively in keeping going and got us to a point where we can have a go at a soft re-opening. Initially, it’ll just be for a few days a week and we’ll see how things go.
Please shop safely...
- Only 3 customers in the shop at any one time
- Please follow the one-way system
- Please use use the hand sanitiser provided upon entering the shop
- Please maintain 2m distancing from other people
- Please don’t touch anything, unless you’re intending to buy it
- Contactless payments preferred please. Cash – only if you really have to!
Also, please DON’T come in if you feel unwell, we can always deliver to you!
Needless to say, it’s not exactly going to be business as usual and we’ll need your help in order to keep you, your fellow shoppers and Barrica staff as safe as possible. So, here are some guidelines we’ll ask you to observe when you visit.
Firstly, one thing you will notice is the big gates to the courtyard will be closed and access will be via the side gate. Upon entering the gate, you’ll see crowd barriers will have been put in place by our good friends at Chorley Council and these will form a corridor that leads you to Barrica. Please don’t stray outside of these, access to the walled garden is prohibited and the public loos will be closed.
