Also, when April 12th comes around, we’ll be able to open the garden once again – although we’re not actually open on Mondays, so Tuesday, April 13th will be the actual garden re-opening date for us. We’ll also be opening until 7pm on Fridays, so you can enjoy a little glass of something in our garden as you relax in readiness for the weekend.
Needless to say, weather permitting, we’re expecting you’ll be pretty eager to be out and enjoy yourselves, so we’ve added 6 more tables to cope with the anticipated demand. Also, although you’ll have the option to reserve a table in advance, we will be holding a number of tables back for walk-ins.
Graze Box
If we do get lucky with the weather, fingers crossed, and you get chance to join us for a cheeky glass or two in the park, you may want to accompany it with one of our NEW graze boxes… What should be sufficient grazing for 2 people and for the sum of just £12.50, you’ll enjoy: 2 cheeses – olives – crackers – bread – chutney – a sausage roll or a pork pie – and crisps. There is a single serving option and this will be £7.50.
You can always call us to order so it’s ready for you when you arrive. Unfortunately, these will only be available on Fridays from 4pm in the interest of good neighbourly relations! All goods subject to availability, and may be substituted.
Garden Rules
After a long lockdown, we feel the garden may well be put to good use over the coming months and we’d like everyone to be able to enjoy this new-found freedom as much as possible. So, if you could please read through and follow the guidelines below, it would be very much appreciated

- Although we’ve been relaxed about this during lockdown, seating is only provided for Barrica in the Park customers, not Café Ambio customers. So please don’t be offended if you’re asked to move.
- Please keep table capacity within the maximum 6 allowed under current regulations.
- Table service only – staff will be available to take your order, but you could always save our number (07469 220583 ) and order by phone?
- Table Bookings – you can book your table ahead, but some tables will be held back for walk-ins.
Please note: Table bookings will only be held for half an hour from booking time before being released. - Please keep children closely supervised at all times.
- Toilets are sited at the end of the building near the Courtyard entrance. However, the Barrica customer toilet will be open on Friday evenings after others have closed.
- We’re expecting the garden to be very popular and busy upon re-opening, so please be patient during busy times.
PLEASE NOTE. It is now mandatory for EACH visitor over 16 to record their details, either by the NHS app or by giving us their details. It seems to be our responsibility to verify that customers have checked in, and collate details for those who don’t have the App, with a hefty fine if we don’t. To this end, if anyone refuses details, we will refuse service and they will be asked to leave. Please be assured, we won’t use the information for any other purpose, and will only keep the details for 21 days, after which they will be shredded. Customers found not adhering to the above guidelines will be asked to leave
